Nicki Minaj Confirmed to Judge American Idol
It's official! Nicki Minaj will join the judge's panel on this upcoming season of American Idol.
Idol host Ryan Seacrest tweeted the news along with a photo (above) showing all four judges — Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban having dinner with the show's producers.

Carey landed the job over the summer and signed an $18M deal with the show. It's unknown how much Minaj and Urban will earn from judging.
The news comes as no surprise, as the chatter and speculation had been building over the last few weeks over who'd land the job.
At one point, Jackson was tossed out of the running and was placed as a mentor. Rumor had it that Enrique Iglesias was in talks to join the show too, unfortunately, those plans didn't pan out.
